Hajj 2024: Kwara Stops Deposits, Directs N4.5m Full Payment
Intending pilgrims who wish to perform the 2024 Hajj with the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board have been advised to quickly complete the remaining balance of their Hajj fares.
Executive secretary of the board, Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, disclosed this in a statement signed by the chief administrative officer, Alh. Suhaib Olayinka Akano, in Ilọrin.
He said the board has stopped collecting N3.5 million as first deposit from all intending pilgrims.
“They are now to pay N4.5 million full payment only along with bank charges immediately after their registration.
“The deposit must be made before the deadline of 31st January given by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON),” he said.
The executive secretary added that those who have completed the payment of their N4.5m should submit their original international passports with six white background passport photographs to his office for timely processing of their travelling documents.
Abdulkadir implored all the intending pilgrims who have already paid the sum of N3.5 million to pay the balance of N1 million before 31st of January, 2024.
