Kwara monarch lauds Tinubu's Supreme Court victory

Date: 2023-11-03

A first class traditional ruler in Kwara State, Oba Solomon Olugbenga Oloyede, has rejoiced with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his validation as the duly elected President by the Supreme Court.

Oba Oloyede, who is the Olusin of Isanlu-Isin in the Isin local government area of Kwara state, was excited that the judgement has brought an end to a legal challenge brought against Tinubu by his two main rivals.

The two political rivals had argued that Tinubu's victory was marred by irregularities.

The monarch noted with excitement that the Supreme Court judgement would enable the president to concentrate more in discharging his responsibilities to the Nigerian people.

“I am deeply excited that the legal battle has ended in favour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and I hope this will give the president ample opportunities to concentrate on the business of governance,” Oba Oloyede said.

The Olusin of Isanlu-Isin also urged all Nigerians to give maximum support to President Tinubu to enable him fulfill his renewed hope agenda.
