AbdulRazaq congratulates newly elevated Kwara-born top cops

Date: 2023-03-30

Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has congratulated three senior police officers of Kwara origin who have just been elevated to different ranks in the recent promotions announced by the Police Service Commission (PSC).

The newly promoted Kwara-born senior cops are Babatunde Ishola Babaita (Assistant Inspector General of Police); Yekini Adio Ayoku (Assistant Inspector General of Police); and Salman Dogo Garba (Commissioner of Police).

“The Governor rejoices with the top cops and their families on the deserving elevation. He is excited to have these distinguished Kwara-born officers moving steadily to the peak of their career with records of excellent service to the Nigerian state and its people,” the Governor said in a statement on Wednesday.

“These elevations again portray our state in a good light, and I pray God to guide these police officers — and many others like them — as they continue to be great ambassadors of Kwara State and its people.”
