Emir of Ilorin approves palace Annual Ramadan Lecture
The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has approved the commencement of the Annual Tafsir (Ramadan lecture) at the Emir's Palace from Monday.
This is contained in a statement by the Emir's Spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, in Ilorin.
According to the statement, “the annual tafsir lecture at the Emir's Palace for the entire people of Ilorin Emirate and beyond will commence on Monday.
“The morning session is to be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad-Bashir Imam-Soliu, together with the Imam Imale of Ilorin, Sheikh Abdullahi Abdulhamid.
“The Ajanasi Agba of Ilorin, Sheikh Mujitaba Yusuf Bature, will also be around In Shaa Allah, daily.
