Kwara Govt Equips State Hospitals With Ultramodern Lab Machines
The Kwara State Government has procured new ultramodern machines for both Sobi Specialist Hospital and Civil Service Hospital, Ilorin.
The new machines can conduct multiple laboratory tests.
This major investment in the infrastructure of the two facilities is part of the continued interventions of the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration to revive the health sector of the state.
The machines include Hematology Analyzer, Chemistry Analyzer, and Electrolyte Analyzer.
Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Hospital Management Board (KW-HMB), Dr. Abdulraheem Malik, said efforts are ongoing to spread these ultramodern machines across health facilities in the state so that patients do not travel long distances to get medical tests done.
“The machines are essential laboratory equipment that will increase the number of parameters the labs in the facilities can test. They will go a long way in improving our service delivery and our diagnosis capacity,” he said.
