Kwara Poly gets new Bursar, Librarian
The Governing Council of Kwara Polytechnic, Ilorin, has approved the appointment of Mr Mohammed Ibrahim and Dr Shuaib Olarongbe as Bursar and Polytechnic Librarian, respectively.
A statement by the Secretary to the Council and Registrar of the Polytechnic, Mr Kolawole Akande, announced this on Thursday in Ilorin.
The statement said the council appointed the duo for a term of five years.
The statement further said that the appointment of the two officers was based on their brilliant performance during the interview jointly conducted by the Committee of Council and Academic Board.
The newly appointed Bursar, Ibrahim, was a Chief Accountant; Controller of Finance and Account at Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency.
He is from Lafiagi in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara, married and blessed with children.
The newly appointed Polytechnic Librarian, Olarongbe, is a Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Communication and Information Science, University of Ilorin.
He is from Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara. Olarongbe is married and blessed with children.
The statement stipulated the effective date of appointment as June 13 and July 10, for the Polytechnic Librarian and Bursar, respectively.
