Kwara Gov mourns death of Imam Maraba Sheikh Abdussalaam
“I join the Muslim community to mourn one of our leading scholars in Ilorin Emirate. Imam Maraba was known for his longstanding commitments to Islamic evangelism and his unique mastery and delivery of Sufi poetry. His death, like many of his kind, left a big hole in the Muslim community,” the Governor said in a statement on Wednesday.
“I beseech Allah to ease his account, grant him and all of our (departed) pious forebears al-jannah, and comfort the family and the community he left behind.
