Kwara United Move to Shagamu for Pre-Season Camping

Date: 2012-11-05

Kwara United on Monday morning moved from their Ilorin base to Shagamu to begin a two weeks pre-season camping exercise ahead of next season.

Officials of the club told Goal.com that the Shagamu camp will afford the old and new players the opportunity to know each other and also train together before the start of the new season.

"We have some new players. We also have a new technical adviser. We need everybody to come together in a closed camping so that we can actually know the strength of the team that we have.

"We are sure that at the end of the two week period in Shagamu, Kwara United will become a strong side that will be ready to face the challenges in the Nigeria Premier League.

"We may not have done well last season, but we are ready to stake a claim to the league title next season.

"The coaching crew will finally take a close look at all the players before they make up their mind on who to sign for the coming season," the club media officer said.
