The Speaker, Kwara state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi has joined family, associates and league of well wishers in celebrating an elder statesman and Wali of Ilorin, Alh. Usman Mustapha as he clocks 90 today.

"I celebrate Alh. Usman Mustapha, the traditional title holder of Wali of Ilorin and a critical stakeholder in the book of history of crafting of our dear State, Kwara. Baba Wali is reputed for being a shrewd administrator, community development advocate, conscientious politician and public servant, whose sojourn in his active days in the polity remains a reference point for today's actors in politics, community development, civil and public administration", Danladi said in a state issued by his Special Assistant, Media, Ibrahim Sheriff in Ilorin, Thursday.

"While thanking God for the worthy life of Baba Wali Usman Mustapha, It is our prayer that Allah in his infinite mercy continue to preserve the nonagenarian and grant him good health, happiness and wisdom to further use his experience to torchlight our paths towards attaining a tranquil and truly prosperous Kwara", he added.
