Arrangements have been concluded by the Okuta Emirate Council to confer the chieftaincy title of Zannah Okuta on the Magagi Nda of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Salihu Woru Mohammed.

A letter of conferment signed by the Emir of Okuta, Alhaji (Dr.) Idris Sero Abubakar, Kperogi-Afon Serobetete III, a copy made available to journalists on Monday reads:

I humbly associate you with the Royal belongingness as a result of your trustworthiness, hardwork, obedience, sincerity and protection of Royal Institution, I hereby observe the confidence His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has in you, also whom I am proud of, deserve this Title to you.

The trust and love His Royal Highness has on me and my town (Okuta), I hereby associate you with the befitting Royal Title of ZANNAH OKUTA.

Your high rated profile and experience shall definitely be your contributions for the development of Okuta most importantly and Kwara state in general.

The turbaning is therefore scheduled to hold on Saturday 16th December 2017 at Emir's Palace, Okuta by 11am during the 2017 GANI Cultural Festival. I congratulate you and wished you long life.
