Special Adviser to Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State on Agriculture, Mr Anu Ibiwoye has admonished youths in the state to see agriculture as the future of Nigeria's economy.
Ibiwoye said this in Ilorin during an interactive session with graduates of Integrated Youths Training Farm Centre, Malete and staff of the ministry.

He said government was determined to train youth in the state with a view to empowering them and create and enabling environment for the practice of modern commercial farming.
"Gov Abdulfatah Ahmed is gracious enough to approve the training of youth in agriculture for them to be self reliance," Ibiwoye added.
The SA therefore charged the young farmers to prove their capability and capacity by reciprocating the gesture of the state government by being worthy ambassadors of government's initiative.
In his remark, Coordinator of Kwara State Agric Mall, Mr Amujo said the Mall would soon embark on biometric data of all farmers in the state.
Mr Doyin Gidado, a student of the 6th graduating set thanked the state government for the training.
He said his training in agriculture has greatly their status as students to employers of labour.
Gidado advised his colleagues not to wait for white collar jobs, but they should utilise the training they have acquired to start farming even on a micro level.
The Manager of Malete Youths Training Farm Centre, Babatunde Akinsinde commended Governor Ahmed and the SA for the giant strides in agriculture.
According to him, the state has become a reference point in modern agricultural practice in Nigeria.
