NBC releases list of community radio licencees
DETAILS on communities for whom President Goodluck Jonathan approved radio licences have been released. But contrary to earlier information, a total of 17 communities are the hosts of the newly-approved radio stations at the grassroots.
At a press briefing last week in Abuja, Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Emeka Mba, had disclosed the figure to be 12 spread across the six geo-political zones of the country.
