Group Worries Over Insecurity, Urges FG To Deploy All Political Will To Counter Attacks
National President, Government Secondary School, Ilorin Old Students Association(GSSIOSA), Alhaji Nurudeen Alabi , has called on the federal government to deploy all necessary political will so as to address the security challenges facing the country.
Speaking at a press conference in Ilorin on Tuesday to mark the forthcoming of Centenary celebration of the ((GSSIOSA) slated for October, this year in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, Alhaji Alabi who expressed concern over the non-release of 129 Chibok schoolgirls abducted by the Boko Haram sect in Borno state said that the development has continue to have a toll in the educational development of the country.
According to him, "there is no doubt that the non release of these school girls has continued to have a serious toll in the educational development of the country"
He said that, "the situation has affected parents and guardians of schoolgirls and if care is not taken, it will create a threat to the academic excellence of the nation's students."
