Ilorin Emirate to Hold Conference On Security

Worried by restiveness among youths in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, Ilorin Emirate Descendants' Progressive Union (IEDPU), the apex socio-cultural organisation of its indigenes at home and abroad, is to organise a confab on security.

National president of IEDPU, Alhaji AbdulHameed Adi, disclosed this in a chat with Daily Trust in Ilorin, adding that a meeting of Ilorin Emirate Security Council was convened penultimate Sunday to deliberate on the "rising activities of hoodlums, thugs and area boys in the area".
