Gov Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State yesterday led the list of award-winning governors at the City People Political Excellence Awards 2014 in Lagos.
Gov Ahmed was honoured as the Best Governor in Youth Empowerment and his award was received on his behalf by his Special Adviser on Communication Strategy, Alh. Alluding to the recent change of political party by the governor, Adedoyin told the audience: " We have changed political platform in Kwara state but the ideas and energy that have driven governance under Maigida, as Kwarans fondly call their governor, remain unchanged and in fact reinvigorated. And as the governor has said very often, Kwara remains firmly in the hands of the tested political leadership under Senator Bukola Saraki."
