Wife of the publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State, Hajia Bilikis Mas'ud Adebimpe, is dead.

Aged 45, Hajia Bilikis died on Sunday morning at her Agbo-Oba residence in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital. She was buried the same day in accordance with Islamic rites.

The janazah prayer which was led by the imam, Isale-Oja, Alhaji Idris Suleiman, was attended by sympathizers from far and near.

A statement signed by Alhaji Abdullahi Lawal on behalf of the Adembimpe family said the Fidau prayer will hold on Thursday at Asileke family compound, Isale Aluko Oja-Tuntun Ilorin beginning from 9:00 am.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Alhaji Mas'ud Adebimpe, and a daughter, Hidayat Abisola Asabi.

Since her demise on Sunday, dignitaries have been trooping the deceased's residence to sympathise with the bereaved.
