ABS Warns Underperforming Players

Date: 2013-04-03

The management of Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC have sent a warning shot to their players and officials following their poor performance this season.

ABS lost at home to defending NPFL champions Kano Pillars at the weekend and are currently 17th on the League table, having earned just four points from five games following their opening day draw with city rivals Kwara United and their Week 3 win over former champions Dolphins FC.

In a statement released by the general manager of the club, Alloy Chukwuemeka, the management described the performance of the club as very poor and urged the team to rise out of the temporary setback that has seen them lose on three occasions.

Chukwuemeka also apologised to the fans and supporters of ABS and called for their prayers and continued support.

ABS will travel to Bauchi next week were they will be hosted by Wikki Tourists at the Tafawa Balewa Stadium in a Week 6 encounter of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
