Kwara coaches' boss advises Keshi on Super Eagles

Date: 2013-03-10

The chairman of Nigerian coaches Association (NCA) Kwara State Chapter, Clement Olayinka has enjoined Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi to employ the same template which saw him include six home based players in the team that won the Nations Cup in South Africa last month.

Olayinka, who stated this while commending the former Togo and Mali coach explained that by this singular act, the coach has brought honour to Nigerian coaches, besides letting the world know that there were quality players in the nation's league.

The chairman also explained further that Keshi winning the Nations Cup has rubbished the claim that only foreign coaches were capable of winning laurels for Nigeria

He pointed out that Clemence Westerhof, won the trophy in 1994 in his third attempt but that Keshi won the trophy in his first attempt.
