Nobel School of Technology and Enterprise (NETS) has announced that its SS3 student, Usman Barokah, secured the 2nd Runner-Up position at the state-level Webfala STEM Debate Competition in Kwara State, earning a cash prize of N100,000.

The competition, organised by Webfala, a private organisation committed to technology and innovation, featured lectures, a technology exhibition, and a debate competition designed to promote critical thinking, creativity, and technological awareness among students.

Barokah's journey to the podium began last Tuesday during the preliminary round, where she represented Nobel School among participants from 80 schools across the state. Her performance earned her 11th position, securing a place in the final round alongside representatives of the 16 other qualifying schools.

She returned to compete against the other finalists and finished 3rd out of the 17 schools that qualified for the final round.

The school described her achievement as a testament to the importance of confidence, preparation, critical thinking, and the courage to stand out in a competitive environment.

Nobel School stated that it remains committed to nurturing students who can think independently, communicate effectively, embrace innovation, and compete confidently on bigger stages.

The school congratulated Usman Barokah on the outstanding achievement and expressed appreciation to Webfala for providing a platform that empowers young people to showcase their intellectual abilities and develop essential skills for the future.
