What happens when you sit among those who built the university system, and the people who remind you that leadership is bigger than the chair.

Hosting the 4th KU8+ International Conference at Summit University, Offa, was more than hosting an academic event. It was a powerful reminder that universities must deliberately create platforms that bring people, ideas, partnerships and opportunities together.

With university leaders, eminent scholars, traditional and community leaders, government, business and the military converging at Summit University, the University was not merely hosting, it was positioning itself within a larger conversation.

For me, it was also deeply personal. A dream I had carried for over 30 years was quietly fulfilled at that high table.

The high table was only a table. But it represented a journey and, more importantly, what institutional visibility can make possible.
