Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has congratulated his former Chief Press Secretary and APC candidate for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Dr Rafiu Ajakaye, on the award of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in History and Diplomacy by Lagos State University (LASU).

Ajakaye received the degree at the university's combined 29th and 30th convocation ceremonies. In a congratulatory message, Governor AbdulRazaq described the academic achievement as a reflection of Ajakaye's commitment, hard work, tenacity and passion for knowledge and personal development.

The Governor also praised his former spokesperson as "highly resourceful and vibrant", describing him as a steady hand in the administration.

"I believe the vast knowledge and experience he has gained from this academic journey prepares him adequately for the next phase of his career and public leadership," AbdulRazaq said.

He wished Dr Ajakaye success in his future endeavours, adding that he was proud of the achievement.
