Killers of Police Commissioner Have Murdered Sleep - IGP
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Abubakar, has spoken tough about the killing of Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Chinwike Asadu, saying his killers will “have no rest until they are brought to book”.
The IGP made this known in a statement where he described the death of the police Officer as “unfortunate and most saddening.”
“Those who are behind this incident have murdered sleep and will have no rest until they are brought to book” he stated.
The IGP instructed the special detectives and homicide unit as well as the Special Anti-Robbery Squad to support the Enugu state command to unravel the killers of the commissioner.
He also directed the Enugu state Police Command to ensure that crime wavein the state is brought under control.
While expressing his deepest condolences to the immediate family and the entire police force, he assured Nigerians that those behind the killing will be fished out and tried appropriately.
