Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has expressed deep shock over the death of the Olora of Ora, His Royal Highness Oba Adebayo Samuel Akolade JP, who passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025.

The Governor has sent his heartfelt condolences to the family of the Olora and the entire people of Ora in the Ifelodun Local Government Area on the sad incident.

Governor AbdulRazaq recalled with fond memories his engagements with the respected second class monarch, praising the Oba's reputation for his wisdom, leadership, his love for his people, and his commitment to peace and development in Ora and its environs.

He specifically commended the late monarch's legacies of excellent service to the state as a retired civil servant and his dedication to progressive values as a traditional ruler. The Governor concluded by praying to God to grant the community and the family the strength and patience to navigate this difficult moment.
