The entire Ilorin Emirate community, both at home and in the diaspora, along with members of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), have cause to rejoice as one of their own, Ambassador Hajia Fatimoh Toyin Shuaibu Matron of the IEDPU Western Zone has been conferred with the prestigious title of National Matron by the Islamic Musicians Association of Nigeria (ISMAN) National Headquarters.

This remarkable recognition, bestowed upon Ambassador Hajia Fatimoh Toyin Shuaibu, is being celebrated as a collective honour for the people of Ilorin and the IEDPU family worldwide. It is not only a personal achievement for her but also a proud moment for the Emirate, once again highlighting the values of service, leadership, and cultural pride that define Ilorin and its descendants.

Ambassador Hajia Fatimoh Toyin Shuaibu, who also serves as a Peace Ambassador for the University of Ilorin and a United Nations Peace Ambassador, has dedicated her life to community service, peacebuilding, and the promotion of Islamic and cultural heritage. By virtue of this new honour, the Ilorin Emirate and the IEDPU are further elevated in national recognition, reinforcing their relevance as a people of excellence and progress.

In her message of appreciation, Ambassador Hajia Fatimoh Toyin Shuaibu expressed deep gratitude to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CON, the entire people of Ilorin, and particularly the IEDPU Western Zone, for their continuous prayers, goodwill, and encouragement.
