KWASU Receives FG NELFund Loan, Disbursements Begin May 14
Kwara State University (KWASU) has confirmed receipt of student loan funds from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFund), a federal initiative to support students' access to quality education without financial barriers.
The loan disbursements, announced by Registrar Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee in a university-wide memo on Thursday, 8 May 2025, will begin on Wednesday, 14 May 2025, for verified eligible students.
"The university appreciates the federal government and the management of NELFund for this timely intervention and remains committed to ensuring a smooth and transparent disbursement process.
"Concerned students are advised to take note and be properly guided," she added.
