The Balogun Gambari Development Association has appealed to the Kwara State government to reinstate the suspended acting Provost of College of Education, Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Abdulrahman.

The association in a statement signed by the Chairman, Alhaji Oba Jimoh and the Secretary, Alhaji Haruna Maigidansanma, commended the Kwara State Government and the state House of Assembly for upholding fairness and justice in handling the issue of suspension.

It said the ingenuity and integrity demonstrated by members of the state House of Assembly on the issue portrays them as worthy ambassador and true representative of the people.

It equally lauded the contributions of the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, the Balogun Gambari, Alhaji Aliyu Muhammed and other traditional and religious leaders as well as youths in Gambari community on the matter.

The statement also noted honesty and sincerity of purpose explored during the public hearing by implementation panel led by Prof. Sheu Jimoh was worthy of commendation.

The association therefore appealed to the state government to reinstate Dr. Ibrahim in the interest of justice and fairness.
