Missed Chances Cost Us, Sanni Rues Kwara United's Stalemate with Plateau

Date: 2025-04-08

Kwara United's Technical Adviser, Tunde Sanni, has criticised his team's poor finishing after they were held to a goalless draw by Plateau United in Sunday's Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clash at the New Jos Stadium.

Sanni lamented the missed opportunities that denied the Harmony Boys a victory, stating that his side “should have secured all three points” with better composure in front of goal.

“We have to thank God for the point because the last time we played in Ilorin although we beat Plateau United, they gave us a tough time in the game,” Sanni stated in a post-match interview.

“We missed a lot of scoring chances which could have giving us the maximum points in the game.

“My players were not clinical enough in front of goal.”
