Islamic Preacher Recalls Governor AbdulRazaq's Mother's Assurance on His Performance
A prominent Islamic preacher, Alfa Mohammed Ali Eyonbo Anabi, on Saturday reminisced about a statement made by the mother of Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, shortly after he assumed office in 2019.
According to Anabi, the governor's mother had assured the people of the state that her son would deliver on his mandate, and he expressed joy that her words have indeed come to pass.
The cleric praised Governor AbdulRazaq's administration, stating that his achievements so far reflect dedication, good governance, and commitment to the progress of Kwara State.
”The mother of the governor had during an interview with newsmen upon AbdulRazaq's assumption of office in 2019 assured Kwarans that his son will perform. Mama said that she knows his son, though very quiet, but he will perform excellently well in office. The governor's mother's assertion has come to pass. The governor proved his mother right,” Eyonbo Anabi said.
The cleric hailed the governor for being a good child whose mother can vouch for.
In his lecture, Alfa Amosa Asisoloriro from Okelele quarters of Ilorin, poured encomiums on AbdulRazaq for what he called his monumental strides in infrastructural development.
Above all, the cleric said,” we all live peacefully in every parts of Kwara State today.
”Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is doing his best. We should appreciate him. But definitely history will be kind to him,” Asisoloriro added.
He, however, appealed to market men and women not to hoard or hike prices of commodities, admonishing them to fear Allah and the day of judgement.
In a brief remark, a stalwart of APC, Alh Usman Bibire Ajape, hailed Governor AbdulRazaq's for being a detrabilised leader.
He emphasised the need for all well meaning Kwarans and the people of Ilorin in particular, to give the governor maximum support.
