Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Umar J.G. Mohammed, has called on newly promoted officers to fully commit to their elevated ranks with a deeper sense of responsibility and accountability.

During the decoration ceremony at the State Command Headquarters in Ilorin on Thursday, 24th October 2024, Commandant Umar charged the officers to uphold the highest standards in their duties. The recent promotions included 21 Deputy Commandants, 10 Assistant Commandants, 13 Chief Superintendents, 48 Superintendents, 129 Deputy Superintendents, 127 Assistant Superintendents I, and 68 Assistant Superintendents II.

The Kwara NSCDC helmsman expressed his gratitude to the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Tunji Ojo, and the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, for magnanimously approving a significant number of promotion in recognition of their hard work and commitment to service.

While congratulating the newly promoted officers on their well-deserved promotion, He charged them to redouble their efforts in the bid to actualize the mandate of the Corps.

Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers, DCC Augustine Eramhaenze acknowledged with gratitude the divine favor that has led to their promotion to higher ranks. He assured that the officers would earnestly strive to fulfill their responsibilities with diligence and dedication.
