Sports Veterans Honor Abraysports CEO's Milestone Birthday with Victory at Kwara Stadium
As reported by Sports247, The Kwara State Stadium Complex was filled with excitement as sports enthusiasts and fans gathered to celebrate the 50th birthday of Mr. Abduliah Yussuf, CEO of Abraysports FC. Marking the milestone in style, a friendly football match was organized between Kwara Soccer Veterans and Glamour Football Club.
In a memorable moment that delighted the crowd, the celebrant, Mr. Yussuf, scored the game’s only goal from a penalty kick, securing a 1-0 win for Kwara Veterans.
For the Yussuf family, it was a day of pride and joy. “It’s very interesting and delightful to see my son clock 50,” said his mother, Mrs. Alhaji Sikirat Titilayo Yussuf. “It’s a thing of joy, and I’m happy to have a united family.”
Family members shared in her joy, with Hon. Abdulwaheed Gbenga Yussuf, Mr. Yussuf’s brother, offering heartfelt words.
“My elder brother is a sports lover and administrator of Abraysports Football Club, playing in the Nigeria league. We’re celebrating sports, and I’m happy to be here.”
Adding to the celebratory spirit, Coach Bolakele Magaji, Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, acknowledged Mr. Yussuf’s dedication to sports. “Anyone involved in sports deserves recognition. Abray has contributed significantly, and I wish him many useful years and good health.”
Femi Sani, Chairman of Araba FC, lauded the celebrant’s character, calling him “a very humble and easy-going man,” sentiments echoed by the many sports enthusiasts present at the event.
The event highlighted Mr. Yussuf’s contributions to Kwara’s sports community and his enduring passion for football, leaving a legacy admired by both young and old.
