2024 World Teachers' Day: Gov Abdulrazaq okays Monday as Holiday for Kwara Teachers
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has approved Monday October 7, 2024 as a public holiday for teachers in the state — a gesture in honour of the World Teachers' Day (WTD).
The Governor again commends the teachers for what they do to advance human progress through quality teaching and nurturing of minds.
“The Governor directs that this holiday be enjoyed by teachers in the public and private sector as a mark of appreciation for what they do,” according to a statement by the Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development Hajia Sa'adatu Modibbo Kawu.
“He wishes them a blessed holiday.”
