News from Kwara State Government Facebook Page indicates that from conceptualization to realisation, one of the initiatives of His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration, Kwara Garment Factory has hit the ground running with the production of high-quality tracksuits and jerseys for the State's contingent and officials participating in the 2024 National Youth Games in Asaba.

Built to grow Kwara's economy and create jobs, this historic feat has been drawing cheers for Governor AbdulRazaq globally.

Before now, the State expended a huge amount in procuring tracksuits and jerseys for contingent and officials representing Kwara at national competitions, but the legacy garment factory has come to redefine the situation.

Delivered on Monday, September 9, 2024, to the Kwara State Sports Commission at the State's Stadium, the Chairman of the Commission, Mallam Bolakale Mogaji, who received the high-quality sportswear, was pleased with the premium fabrics used.

"The quality and design of the jerseys and tracksuits are exceptional. Kwara Garment Factory has the potential to become one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality sportswear in Africa," the seasoned sportsman remarked.

Encouraging Kwarans and Nigerians to patronise the service of the historic garment factory, the Chairman of Kwara State Sports Commission commended His Excellency Governor AbdulRazaq for his visionary leadership under whose administration the State has witnessed the spring of economic growing initiatives like the Kwara Garment Factory, Innovation hub, Sugar Film Studio, and Visual Arts Centre, among other signature projects.
