Emir of Ilorin Rejoices with Gov. AbdulRazaq @ 5yrs in Office
According to a news report from Royal News, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has extended warm congratulations to Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON on the occasion of his fifth anniversary as the Executive Governor of Kwara State.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari praised the Governor for his tireless efforts in revitalising the state across various sectors including education, healthcare, commerce, youth and women empowerment, as well as infrastructure development. He commended Governor AbdulRazaq as a visionary leader and described him as the 'People's Governor'.
This is contained in a goodwill message issued on Wednesday by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, noting that “Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is a peace-loving personality whose humility and dedication to service to humanity is noticeable across the nooks and crannies of the state.”
The monarch also confirmed that the governor has used his talent to promote good governance, peaceful co-existence, inter-religious harmony, security, and human capital development within his five years in office which has earned him the prestigious national honor of Commander of the Order of Niger (CON) and Chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, however, extended the heartfelt congratulations and appreciation of the entire Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council members to the Governor for his continuous support towards maintaining peace and harmony among the people of the state.
He however urged indigenes and the entire residents of Kwara state to continue to support the current administration by living together peacefully to sustain the growth and development across all sectors in the state.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari therefore prayed that Almighty Allah will grant the Governor more wisdom and sound health that will enable him to do more for the people of the state and other global engagements.
