President Federation Cup: Warri Wolves target Kwara United scalp in Enugu

Date: 2024-05-22

According to a news report from the Daily Post, Warri Wolves head coach, Austin Johnny, is determined to orchestrate an upset in the President Federation Cup Round of 32 match against Kwara United.

The Seasiders are set to face Kwara United at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu today.

Johnny believes that strategic planning, rigorous training, and mental preparation will pay dividends in the game.

However, he also acknowledged the zeal of the Afonja Warriors ahead of the encounter.

“We are going into the round of 32 not undermining our opponents Kwara United, they are a good side no doubt but Warri Wolves is not relenting in surpassing our last year outing in the FA,” Johnny told the club's media in a post-match interview.

“We are out in Enugu for a win, we have our strategies.

“We are very optimistic and positive, we are focused, we are determined and we would get victory.”
