Grand Kadi Urges Wealthy Individuals to Avoid Oppression
According to News report from Blueprint, The Grand Kadi of Kwara State Sharia Court of Appeal, Justice Abdullateef Kamaldeen, has urged influential individuals in society to use their wealth with caution.
He admonished them against engaging in acts of oppression, reminding them that every soul will be judged according to their intentions in the hereafter. Kamaldeen emphasised the importance of adhering to divine order to avoid spiritual consequences.
Kamaldeen delivered this message during the 15th anniversary celebration of the Ilorin-based Islamic organisation, Ahlul Kamal As-Sobireen Islamic Society of Nigeria, held in the state capital.
Blueprint reports that the event with the theme “Ash-Shaykh Muhammad Kamalud-Deen Al-Adabiy: An Icon of Knowledge and Morals”, was convened to eulogise the contributions of late renowned Islamic scholar, Shaykh Muhammad Habeebullahi Kamaldeen.
In his keynote address, the state Grand Kadi also cautioned youth who are currently struggling to make it in life to exercise patience, saying that they can't run faster than their destinies.
Kamaldeen, who recalled how the group was set up, applauded the National Amir of Kunfayakun family, Sheikh Sulyman Bn Mahmud Oshioyemi, for his perseverance and tenacity of purpose that had aided the survival of the Islamic organization.
The National Amir said the group was formed to advance cause and propagation of Islam and to encourage Muslim faithful to emulate all that the late founder of Al-Adabby represented.
He noted that Shaykh Kamaldeen recorded landmark achievements because of good relationship he had with his parents, teacher, family and students.
