Kwara FA Fixes Dates, Sets Guidelines For Federation Cup
The Kwara State Football Association has announced dates and established regulations for the forthcoming Federation Cup.
According to the Association's Secretary, Mr Kashim Agaka, the state preliminaries for the Federation Cup competition would begin on Jan. 20 and end on Feb. 20.
“The winners and first runners-up are to go on to represent the state in the national edition of the Federation Cup, which is organised by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF),” he said.
The state football body also listed guidelines for registration for all participating clubs in the state, adding that the rules would be followed religiously.
“The registration process will start on Wednesday and end on Nov. 30. Registration fee for the Men's competition of the championship is pegged at N150,000, while for the Women's competition, it is N100,000.
“By the regulations, lateness fee for clubs for the men's category is pegged at N200,000, while for the women's category, it is N120,000 Naira,” the FA Secretary said.
He then requested that those willing to be part of the glamorous championship are required to pay into the state FA's account.
