First Lady of Kwara State Attends the Conferment of National Honours on President-Elect, Vice President-Elect
The event was part of activities leading to the inauguration of President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice-President-elect Senator Kashim Shettima as President and Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria respectively on Monday 29th of May 2023.
During the event President Muhammadu Buhari conferred on President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima the national honours of Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic, GCFR, and Grand Commander of Order of the Niger, GCON, respectively.
President Muhammad Buhari also handed the transition documents and the baton of service to the incoming president Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the occasion.
