The investments of Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in sports have continued to yield positive results, as three Kwarans made the list of 8 squash players representing Nigeria at the ongoing Africa Seniors Championship 2022.

AbdulRazaq has been acknowledged as a sports loving governor, himself an athlete that represented the state during his formative years at various competitions.

The governor has revamped major sports infrastructure left in deplorable conditions at the Kwara State Stadium Complex.

He rehabilitated the decripit squash courts, while also building 8 additional ones.

The Governor has also ensured consistent payment of motivation and welfare packages for sportsmen in the state.

The three Kwarans that are on the team representing Nigeria at the championship include, Rofiat Abdulazeez, Blessing Isaac, and Seun Gabriel.
