Kwara PDP condoles with family of ex-Kwara Dep. Gov, Chief Joel Ogundeji

The Kwara State People's Democratic Party, PDP, has mourned the death of a former deputy governor of Kwara State, Chief Joel Afolabi Ogundeji, who passed on Thursday morning in Ilorin.

Chief Ogundeji was the Kwara Deputy Governor to Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki between 2003 - 2011.

The Party in a statement signed by its State Chairman, Hon. Engr. Kola Shittu, described the late elder statesman as an accomplished politician and a respected community leader, adding that as deputy governor, he served Kwara and its people with diligence and dedication.

The PDP extended his condolences to the family of the deceased who served as deputy governor of the state for eight years, as well as the people of Iwo-Isin in Isin local government area of the State.

Engr. Shittu added that the deceased lived a fulfilled life in the service of his creator and humanity. He prayed God Almighty to grant his family the fortitude to bear the painful exit and comfort all those who mourn his demise.
