Kwara donates relief materials to Nigerian Correctional Service

The Kwara State Government has donated relief materials to the Command Correctional Service in Kwara State.

This is part of government's intervention to meet with the urgent need of the newly admitted inmates in the State.

Among the items donated are 230 pieces of mattress, 230 pieces of blankets, 250 pieces of mats and 50 cartoons of detergent washing soap.

While delivering the items, the Secretary to the State Government Mallam Saba Jibril, stated that the State Government is ready to partner with all the Federal Agencies in the State to ensure that the dividend of democracy is equally distributed.

The State Controller of Corrections in the State, Mr Adebisi Adewale Francis, while receiving the items on behalf of the Controller General of the Service, Alhaji Ja'afaru Ahmed thanked the Governor for the good gesture and promised to judiciously distribute the items to the various Custodial centres in the State.
