Fed Poly Bida commences degree programmes - Rector

The Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Dr. Abubakar A. Dzukogi said the institution has commenced degree programmes in both sciences and managements courses.

He stated this yesterday, while fielding questions from newsmen in his office. According to him, the programme that was affiliated to the Federal University of Technology, Minna and Kwara State University of Ilorin, will produce Bsc and BTec graduates in different fields.

He said the objective was to promote education in the area and bring sanity into the polytechnic system by producing qualified graduates in different fields.

Dzukogi who was just reelected for the second time to office, promised to leave a good legacy behind by bring more developmental projects to the institution.

He said the institution has done the accreditation/reaccreditation of both National Diploma and Higner National Diploma programmes, which expired in 2012/2013, and have established radio station in the polytechnic for dissemination of information and entertainments.
