Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has felicitated with a top APC chieftain and foremost academic Prof Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem on his 73rd birthday anniversary, commending him for his long-standing contributions to community and national development.

In a statement on Thursday, the Governor described Prof. Oba as an elder statesman and APC chieftain who has been in the forefront of the struggle to evolve a progressive political culture for the state.

"On behalf of my family, the people and government of Kwara State, I congratulate Prof Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem on the occasion of his 73rd birthday. I also specially commend him for his significant contributions to the (tertiary) education sector in the state as well as his community development efforts over the years.
