Date: 2020-08-19

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has expressed shock over the demise of a former General Manager of Kwara Express Engr Ahmad Gazaly Muhammed Ghali.

"The Governor commiserates with the entire Ghali Alaaya family of Ilorin Emirate, and prays the Almighty Allah to repose the soul of Engr Ahmad Gazaly Ghali and all of our departed compatriots in Aljannah Firdaus," AbdulRazaq said in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary Rafiu Ajakaye on Tuesday.

The Governor said the late Engr Ghali's love for education and intellectualism was exceptional, as shown in his possession of several academic qualifications, urging young people to emulate him.

"He was also a community leader with a difference. He will be missed by all and would be remembered for his love for the community and humanity in general," the statement added.
