Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the School of Nursing, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital for the 2012/2013 Academic Session.

2. METHOD OF APPLICATION

a. Applicants are to log on to the UITH, Ilorin website www.uith.org to download and print out the admission form.

b. Payment of N5000.00 for application form should be made payable in Bank Draft to the School of Nursing, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital at any of the First Bank Branches.

3. ENTRY QUALIFICATION  

a. As specified by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits which includes English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at WASC, NECO or GCE in not more than two (2) sittings.

4. SUBMISSION OF FORMS

All completed Application forms with photocopies of credentials along with the Bank Draft should be submitted to the School of Nursing, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital on or before 19th October, 2012 which is the closing date.

5. EXAMINATION/INTERVIEW DATES   Dates of screening exercise (written and oral) have been fixed as follows:

a. Written Examination: 20th October, 2012

b. Oral Interview: 22nd October, 2012

Both will be at the School premises.

6. OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION

a. Applicants should note that only successful candidates will be communicated by the School authority.

b. Candidates must ensure that the examination permit card is filled as this will serve as an identity for eligibility to sit for the examination and interview.
