Ahead of the internal elections of the National Assembly that will give birth to the leaders that will direct the affairs of the 9th Upper and lower legislature. All Progressives Congress, APC, chairman in Kwara state, Hon Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa has restated the need for the elected Legislatures from the state to tow the party directive and support whoever the party push forward as principal officers.

Bolarinwa said in a statement released yesterday in Ilorin that it is necessary to uphold the party supremacy to guide against the repeat of 8th assembly scenario that resulted to lack of cooperation and support for Executive from Legislatures that eventually hinder the performance of President Buhari administration.

"I urged all the elected members from Kwara not to put personal interest above that of the party" "We will not like a repeat of the 2015 event when some members of the APC in their selfish desire undermined the party's decision" "There is no better time to build the foundation for the Next Project than now" "There is no two way about it, the party's choice of candidates must be adhered to," what we are saying is that let us have a united front," he said.
