Sympathy Pours in for Share Community over Robbery Incident

Following a recent robbery incident in Share community in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, where two members of the local security operatives lost their lives, the residents of the area have continued to receive sympathisers.

Speaking when he paid a visit to Share and Sharagi in Ifelodun and Edu Local Government Council, the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Sola Isiaka Gold, commiserated with the people over the robbery incident.

The Secretary to the State Government said the government was touched by the incident and that it would continue to provide necessary support for all security agencies in the state with a view to reducing crime rate.

The SSG and his team also visited police station in Share and Sharagi respectively to commiserate with them.

In the same vein, the Kwara State government has said that it would continue to give necessary support and assistance to Nigerian Police Force to enable it carry out its assignment.

Alhaji Sola Isiaka Gold gave the assurance in Ilorin while receiving the State Commissioner of Police, Chinkwe Asadu, in his office.

Alhaji Gold, who sympathised with the police and their families of those that lost the loved ones in the unfortunate incident in the town recently, urged them not to be deterred by the incident.

The SSG called on members of the public to complement the efforts of the state government and security agencies in solving problems of insecurity in the country.

Also speaking, the police boss thanked the state government for its concern and support at all times, promising that his command would continue to reinforce its security to achieve success.
