Kwara State Government Declares Holidays for Tertiary Institutions

Kwara State-owned tertiary institutions are to embark on a one-week Christmas and New Year break effective Monday, 24th December 2018.

According to a statement by Barrister Ustaz Alikinla, the state Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, the break is to allow students and staff of the affected institutions adequate time to enjoy the Yuletide and New Year celebration.

While wishing the students and staff of the nine state-owned tertiary institutions a joyful celebration, Barrister Alikinla said the schools are to reopen on January 3, 2019.
