Kwara holds 11th RATTAFEST

The Radio, Television, Theatre and Art Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU) recently held it 11th edition of RATTAWU National Festival RATTAFEST in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

Speaking, the National President of the union, Comrade Kabir Garba Tsanni said that RATTAFEST was to promote harmony amidst cultural diversity among members of the union in the North Central and to assist government at all level in creating awareness on the huge and enticing potentials of arts, culture and tourism in the zone.

Tsanni disclosed that the union's plan to commence expansion of its national secretariat and establishment of RATTAWU National Institute (RNI) with a view to ensuring speedy growth and development of the union.

Declaring the National Festival open, the state governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed also appreciated the cordial relationship between members of the union and the government.
