Principal of the school for the special needs, Hajia Awoyehun F. O. said accommodation was the major problem of the school established in 1974. She said that "we are financially handicapped. What you are bringing today shows that you care for the less privileged.

We are delighted to have you here. I am short of words as we least expected what you have brought." The bankers' committee members were also at the Children Reception Centre, Pipeline Road llorin for similar gesture. Also, the Officer in Charge of the centre, Mr. Tayo lkupolati commended the donors for the kind gesture, prayed that God almighty would continue to bless them. The Chairman of the Committee who is also Controller, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN),llorin branch, Mr. Elkanem Akpan explained that the gesture came out of the interest the group has for the less privileged children. "We decided this year to spend the money for the less privileged in order for them to feel the importance of the festivities." At the school for the special needs, Akpan said that "we were to come last year, but the school was said to have gone of vacation. We are here to give you a New Year's gift."
