The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Council, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has expressed shock over the death of a former National President of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressives Union, (IEDPU)Justice Saka Yusuf (rtd).

In his condolence message issued on Tuesday by the National Secretary of Shehu Alimi Foundation for Peace and Development, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir described the deceased as a rear gem and compassionate jurist whose contributions to the development of the Ilorin Emirate is unquantifiable.

The Emir also accepted the fact that all souls shall taste death at their appointed time even as he prayed Allah to grant his repose forgiveness, mercy and Al-janatul firdaos.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari however condole with the immediate family of the deceased and the entire people of Ilorin Emirate and prayed Allah to give them the fortitude to bear the great loss.

Late Justice Saka Yusuf died on Monday after a brief illness.
